Postie

Terms of Use

These terms apply to Postie, a macOS app made by Oğuz Berk Açar under the OBA Labs name (“we”), and to this website. By downloading or using Postie you agree to them.

1. Using Postie

Postie is free. You may download it and use it for personal or work purposes. Get it from the official release page, github.com/oguzberkacar/postie-releases, or through the app's own updater. Builds from anywhere else are not ours and may not be safe.

2. Your requests and data

Postie sends what you tell it to send. You are responsible for the requests you make, for having permission to call the APIs you call, and for the credentials you use. Your collections and environments are yours; we have no access to them.

Your workspace is stored on your Mac. Keeping backups is up to you; we are not able to recover lost data.

3. Scripts and imported collections

Pre-request and test scripts run in a sandbox with time and memory limits, and Postie only uploads files you picked yourself. Even so, only import collections from sources you trust: a script or request from someone else can still send data to the servers it names.

4. Coding agents

The chat and terminal assistant run Claude Code or Codex with your own account. An agent can create, change and send requests within the limits Postie sets: it never sees secret values and cannot send to Protected environments. You are responsible for what you ask an agent to do and for reviewing its changes.

5. Third-party services

Some features rely on services we do not operate: GitHub (updates), Supabase (team sync), Anthropic and OpenAI (the assistant) and any identity provider you sign in with. Your use of those services is governed by their terms, and we are not responsible for them.

6. Trademarks

Postman is a trademark of Postman, Inc. Postie is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Postman, Inc. Claude Code is a product of Anthropic, Codex of OpenAI, and Supabase of Supabase, Inc.

7. Updates and availability

We may release new versions, change features or stop developing Postie. The updater asks before installing anything. Versions already on your Mac keep working.

8. No warranty

Postie is provided “as is”, without any warranty that it is error-free, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost data, lost profits or the results of requests sent with Postie.

These terms do not remove consumer rights you have under law.

9. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date at the top changes. Continuing to use Postie after that means you accept the new version.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Questions and notices: info@obalabs.app

These terms are published in English and Turkish. If they differ, the English text applies.
